Speaker Bio: Paul W. Harris is President and CEO of Hoblitzelle Foundation, a position he has held since 1986. He has been a member of several local nonprofit agency boards, including The Hockaday School, Southwestern Medical Foundation, Florence Foundation, UT Southwestern Medical Center Board of Visitors, Summerlee Foundation Investment and Audit Committees, Frazier Revitalization Inc., and he is a Consultant for the Horace C. Cabe Foundation. Mr. Harris is a member of Philanthropy Southwest, an organization that serves the field of organized philanthropy. Paul is a staunch supporter of Executive Women International® and received the EWI® of Dallas Ebby Halliday Executive Excellence Award in 2006. Mr. Harris holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Development and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, along with a Baccalaureate Degree in English from Vanderbilt University. He served as a pilot in the U. S. Navy from 1969 to 1974, and was a professional pilot for Braniff and Continental Airlines, along with other corporate, charter, and air freight operations before changing professions in the mid 1980s. He lives in Dallas with his wife Patricia.
The Summit will also be attended and supported by business, academic, government and other community leaders who wish to advance nonprofit excellence and partner with social change leaders in their community.
